Back in March, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 did some early filming inside Madison Square Garden, where the Los Angeles Clippers were squaring off against the New York Knicks. At the time, it was confirmed that a number of Clippers players would have a cameo, including DeAndre Jordan, J.J. Redick, Matt Barnes, Austin Rivers, and Spencer Hawes. Now it has been confirmed that Knicks star player Carmelo Anthony will also have a memorable cameo in the sequel.

The earlier scene finds Will Arnett, playing Channel 6 cameraman Vern Fenwick, taking his new girlfriend (supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio playing herself) to the game. Some sort of altercation happens there between Vern and the players, with new photos from the set showing Carmelo Anthony as he confronts Will Arnett at a formal dinner party. The specifics of the scene, or how they pertain to the overall story, have not been revealed.

Megan Fox, reprising her role as April O'Neil, and newcomer Stephen Amell, playing fan-favorite Casey Jones, were also spotted on the Brooklyn set. It is believed that they did not participate in this particular dinner party scene. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stars Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Noel Fisher (Michelangelo), Pete Ploszek (Leonardo) and Jeremy Howard (Donatello) are expected to return as the turtles, along with William Fichtner (Eric Sacks). Another new cast member is Tyler Perry, playing scientist Baxter Stockman. No official synopsis has been released for the movie.
