Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will apparently offer us a look at BeBop and Rocksteady as two human henchman before they transform into a wild Boar beast and talking rhino. It was announced today that Gary Anthony Williams, who has racked up quite a few credits as both a live-action actor and a voice artist, will portray BeBop in both incarnations of the character for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. There is no word yet on who will take on Rocksteady.

Though created for the original animated series and not the comic book upon which the entire franchise is based, BeBop is one of the series' most popular villains. Gary Anthony Williams will start off as a punk thug who serves as a member of a ragtag street gang. Acting as an intellectual superior, though he is clearly not, BeBop will mutate into a giant talking pig who becomes a henchmen for Shredder. Gary Anthony Williams is perhaps best known for voicing Uncle Ruckus on animated sitcom The Boondocks. He also played the recurring role of Abe on Malcolm in the Middle.

Gary Anthony Williams is the latest actor to join Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, following a cast of newcomers that include Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, super model Alessandra Ambrosio as herself playing Vern's girlfriend, Tyler Perry as mad scientist turned fly monster Baxter Stockman, and Brian Tee as the new, improved Shredder. Megan Fox will be back as roving reporter and best friend to the turtles April O'Neil, with Will Arnett returning as her cameraman Vern Fenwick. William Fichtner is reprising his role as the villain Eric Sacks, and Laura Linney has been cast in an unknown role. The film is currently shooting in and around New York City, with David Green directing from a script by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec. The film will hit screens summer 2016.
