Set photos offer our exciting first look at the new Shredder and Karai! It was only revealed yesterday that Brittany Ishibashi was coming into play a new take on Karai. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will reveal the martial arts master and Foot Clan member as Shredder's daughter. Here, we see them getting in a little bonding before they set out to destroy the world. Talk about a deadly and dangerous take your daughter to work day!

In the 2014 franchise reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tohoru Masamune was brought in late to portray Shredder after fans complained about William Fichtner's Eric Sacks being revealed as the main villain. The character will now be played by newcomer Brian Tee. In that first film, Minae Noji portrayed Karai. She too was replaced, with Brittany Ishibashi taking over the role. Apparently, this new movie will give the girl more screen time. In the original, Shredder and Karai's relationship as father and daughter is never mentioned, with Karai only appearing in a few scenes.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 promises to up the ante in terms of catering to fans this time out. Not only will the film feature a new Shredder and Karai, but we'll also get to see BeBop and Rocksteady on the big screen for the first time, with Gary Anthony Williams taking on the role of BeBop. Rocksteady has yet to be cast. Genre favorite Stephen Amell is set to play Casey Jones, with supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio playing herself. Tyler Perry is playing mad scientist turned Fly-creature Baxter Stockman, and Laura Linney is appearing in an as yet undisclosed role. They join Megan Fox and Will Arnett returning as April O'Neil and cameraman Vern Fenwick. Take a look as shooting continues this week in New York City:
