An A-list ensemble cast has been assembled to bring the next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles adventures to life. The four young actors chosen to voice the Turtles are The Walking Dead: World Beyond and The Unicorn star Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Meet the Voxels star Micah Abbey as Donatello, The Chi star Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo, and finally The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers star Brady Noon as Raphael. Hollywood icon and martial arts legend Jackie Chan will voice their master, Splinter, with The Bear star Ayo Edebiri as April O'Neil.

The rest of the cast includes Seth Rogen as Bebop, John Cena as Rocksteady, Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, Ice Cube as Superfly, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom, Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut, and Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman.

The plan is for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem to kickstart a new film franchise for the characters, with Paramount’s chief, Brian Robbins, saying, “It’s animated, and it goes back to the roots of the Turtles. Seth and his producing partner Evan Goldberg were brilliant choices because no one can tell stories about being teenagers better than those guys. They’re passionate and super nerdy about the Turtles. It’s going to work for kids, parents, Gen Z-ers and Millennials. We have plans to do multiple animated movies this way, but one day we might go back to a hybrid live-action version of the Turtles.”

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is scheduled to be released in the United States on August 2, by Paramount Pictures.
