Lately, most of the talk surrounding infamous cult director Quentin Tarantino has revolved around his upcoming World War II epic Inglorious Bastards. Now, Variety is claiming that Tarantino is moving ahead on a different project, which is a remake of Russ Meyers' Faster, Pussycat! Kill!... Kill!.

It was announced late last year that Tarantino was going to attempt to contemporize the classic smut picture. Now, it seems that he has found his leading lady in one Tera Patrick, who claims to be the number one "erotic performer" in the world. Variety columnist Liz Smith states that Patrick is looking to transition from the world of adult entertainment into more mainstream films. And that Tarantino believes his Faster, Pussycat! Kill!... Kill! is the film that could relaunch her career.

There is no word on when either QT's Faster, Pussycat! Kill!... Kill! or Inglorious Bastards will head into production, but the director claims that we will see one of the two films, if not both, before the end of next year.
