The Transformers 2 cast gets a new Aussie thrown into the mix. Accoding to Courier Mail, Australian actress Teresa Palmer has signed on for a part in Transformers 2.

It is unclear what her role will be in the Michael Bay-directed picture. Bay continues the Down Under trend in this series, having cast Australian beauty Racheal Taylor in the first Transformers film.

Palmer had signed on to play Talia al Guhl in the upcoming Justice League: Mortal film, but since that project has been delayed, it seems Palmer is moving forward with other projects. Palmer can next be seen in Adam Sandler's Bedtime Stories, which is currently in post-production and slated for a Christmas Day release.
