Man, it just has not been a good few weeks for Warner Home Video...

Home Media Magazine is reporting that another Warner release wasn't released proplerly. Some consumers are reporting that their copy of the Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines Blu-Ray disc came with the wrong video resolution. The packaging states that the disc comes in the 1080p resolution, but some are receiving discs with 1080i resolution.

While 1080p and 1080i both present the same resolution at 1920x1080, the progressive scan video of 1080p is said to deliver a cleaner picture than the interlaced video of 1080i.

An exchange program is being developed currently and, if you own an incorrect T3 Blu-Ray disc, you can call Warner's customer service number at 1-800-553-6937.

The folks at that hotline must be pretty busy lately, since we reported earlier today about a Blade Runner Blu-Ray mishap and last week about a dvd/news/58/25058.php|Harry Potter Blu-Ray error, and they are all Warner releases.
