If the photos and story details released today from Terminator Genisys weren't enough, then you'll surely enjoy five new storyboard images which tease an intense battle sequence between man and machine.

While these early designs may not be as refined as the new images from earlier, they do tease some intriguing details about the long-standing war between Skynet's machines and the human resistance, lead by John Connor (Jason Clarke). Connor and Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) are seen together in three of the five illustrations, while we get a closer look at some of the endoskeletons in the rest. Interestingly enough, the final image shows a "frozen endoskeleton" being put on display, as Connor and Reese casually stroll by it.

Naturally, it isn't known how this endoskeleton was defeated/"frozen," but its clear that they are not indestructible. This part of the story is set in the year 2029, where the Future War keeps raging and Connor's rebels are said to have Skynet, "on the ropes." When Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to protect his mother Sarah Connor, Reese learns that Sarah was raised by an aging T-800 Terminator, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Take a look at these storyboards below, along with the brief captions from Entertainment Weekly and stay tuned for more on Terminator Genisys, which arrives in theaters July 1, 2015.
