The original 1984 Terminator kicks off with Kyle Reese being pursued by cops through a department store. That iconic scene, where he steals a pair of Nike sneakers and a trench coat, gets an unexpected twist in the latest look at Terminator Genisys. Paramount and Skydance have released an extended international TV spot for the action thriller, and it brings some never-before-seen footage and a lot more action! Along for the ride is original star Arnold Schwarzenegger, who reprises his role as the legendary T-800 from the future. He is joined by Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jai Courtney as Kye Reese and J.K. Simmons as a cop who gets embroiled in this classic sci-fi saga.

When John Connor (Jason Clarke), leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline. Now, Sgt. Reese finds himself in a new and unfamiliar version of the past, where he is faced with unlikely allies, including the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger), dangerous new enemies, and an unexpected new mission: To reset the future...

This latest look at the hybrid reboot/sequel offers new scenes featuring Detective O'Brien, who confronts Sarah about her complicated past, which saw both of her parents dying at the hands of Skynet. She is protected from this massacre by a T-800 who eventually becomes her foster parent. We also get to see more of the T-1000 in action, as Arnold Schwarzenegger goes to war against the future.
