Paramount Pictures and Fandango have debuted a new clip from Terminator Genisys, which revisits an iconic scene from 1984's The Terminator, while giving it a brand new twist. The scene is set at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, where a naked T-800 Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) approaches a group of thugs, demanding their clothes. What he doesn't realize is The Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger) has already been waiting for him, and an intense fight begins.

When John Connor (Jason Clarke), leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline. Now, Sgt. Reese finds himself in a new and unfamiliar version of the past, where he is faced with unlikely allies, including the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger), dangerous new enemies, and an unexpected new mission: To reset the future...

J.K. Simmons, Matt Smith, Byung-hun Lee, Douglas Smith, Sandrine Holt and Courtney B. Vance co-star in Terminator Genisys, which was directed by Alan Taylor. Terminator Genisys will be the first in a new trilogy of Terminator movies, but we'll have to wait and see how the first movie fares at the box office. In the meantime, check out the latest clip, to get ready for Terminator Genisys exploding into theaters July 1.
