Variety reports that Lifetime has picked April 11 to bring out the fourth season of Army Wives.

Lifetime has ordered 18 episodes of the series. It is the most watched program in the cable channel's history. The third season, which ended in October, "outperformed the first two seasons in total viewers and women 25-34."

Army Wives is produced by ABC Studios. It stars Kim Delaney, Mark Gordon, Deborah Spera and Jeff Melvoin.
