The comical documentary Verso La Luna Con Fellini features the late Italian director Federico Fellini shooting his last film, La Voce della Luna. After 14 years of gathering dust in the archives, Verso is being brought to light by co-producer and actress Christina Engelhardt, who worked with Fellini for eight years and became part of his inner circle. In the film, Fellini permits Engelhardt, his real-life American assistant to portray a journalist and follow him with a camera on-set, capturing his playful spirit and adoring colleagues. Englehardt, recently inspired by the world's new acceptance for documentaries, decided it was time to bring these rare moments to the public. Verso La Luna Con Fellini, is from award-winning Italian director Eugenio Cappuccio, produced by Fellini and Vittorio Checchi-Gori, and stars Fellini, Roberto Benigni and Engelhardt.
An opening night after-party will be held at Camden House immediately following screening.
