DreamWorks has shifted around the release dates for two upcoming Steven Spielberg movies, The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn and War Horse.

The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn is moving up two days from Friday, December 23 to Wednesday, December 21. War Horse shifts from December 28 to Christmas Day, which falls on a Sunday.

In related news, Paramount has altered its release date for Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol with a unique strategy. The studio is rolling out the Tom Cruise action sequel five days early in IMAX and other select theaters, on December 16, before opening wide on December 21. Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol will open in approximately 250 theaters on December 16.
