Last month, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 director Marc Webb revealed that the first trailer for his superhero sequel will be attached to prints of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Today, Sony Pictures announced that the trailer will debut online December 5, with Good Morning America airing a special sneak peek that day before the full trailer becomes available.

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone reprise their roles as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy in this superhero sequel, with Jamie Foxx (Electro), Paul Giamatti (Rhino) and Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborn) joining the cast.
