After the recent premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the new film that just made its way to the top of almost every Marvel fan's wish list is The Amazing Spider-Man 3. While Tobey Maguire and now Tom Holland have both led three of their own solo Spidey movies, Andrew Garfield had his planned trilogy cut off at just two movies. Before we get any further into this story, be warned that there are MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD for Spider-Man: No Way Home for anyone who hasn't yet seen the film and has somehow still managed to avoid the big reveals online.

With all that being said, Spider-Man: No Way Home saw the anticipated returns of the previous Spider-Man stars, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. As of now, there are no plans set in stone for either actor to return, much less be starring in their own solo movies. A lot of fans are desperately hoping Marvel Studios and Sony will team back up to change that in the near future. The events of No Way Home especially have fans longing for that third Amazing Spider-Man feeling that the actor has at least one more movie in him as Peter Parker.

After the film's release, Andrew Garfield's name was trending with so many fans wanting this to happen. The movement has also been spawning constant fan-made concept posters to further help sell this idea to other fans. There seems to be enough fan interest in the idea at this point that it's certainly worth the studios taking a look. Warner Bros. and DC have already discovered that the success that can be found in giving fans what they want, as seen with this year's release of Zack Snyder's Justice League on HBO Max.

The fans are not especially picky about what should happen in The Amazing Spider-Man 3. Some have been calling for the return of Emma Stone as Gwen, perhaps as Spider-Gwen, now that the live-action Spider-Verse is a part of the Spider-Man franchise. Many other fans want to see Garfield's Spidey taking on Tom Hardy's Venom in a new film that would be part-sequel, part-crossover. Other fans just want to see Garfield leading another Amazing Spider-Man film, regardless of who else may or may not show up, as we can see from the many fan posters.

You can't fault Spider-Man fans for getting excited about this idea. A few years ago, the concept of uniting all three live-action Spideys in one single film seemed like it would be impossible. Now that we know anything can happen, the odds of something like The Amazing Spider-Man 3 happening have become much more possible. Even many of Garfield's detractors who weren't exactly thrilled with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 have been joining the movement for a third film, feeling this version of Peter Parker deserves the chance for at least one more feature to conclude his story.

Time will tell if we see the other Spider-Men again, as the plan for now seems to be for Holland to lead another trilogy of movies. Until then, expect the fan-made posters, like the one above from SaifulCreation, to just keep coming. You can watch Spider-Man: No Way Home in theaters now.
