A power outage caused a minor delay in shooting on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man today, as three crew members were trapped on top of a frozen crane. None of the three men, who were trying to replace the wooden roof of a building in Chinatown, were injured in the accident.

The men were stuck at the top of this boom lift for more than two hours, parked on Market Street near downtown New York City. The boom had risen to six stories when the electricity went out. The FDNY were eventually called to the scene, using their own lift to bring the men to safety.

Shooting was only delayed for less than three hours. Reportedly, the crew will still shoot a scheduled low flying helicopter shot over the Williamsburg Bridge and East River, which is scheduled to last until 4 am EST. Neither Spider-Man nor Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) were seen anywhere near the incident.
