Marvel Studios' superhero ensemble The Avengers is still in production in Cleveland, and, although we're several months from its release, Marvel Comics is planning a new title to raise awareness for the movie. The comic book company will release Road to The Avengers, which includes stories giving more background on these characters. The early cover art was released for this compilation, which you can take a look at below, along with the synopsis.

It isn't known when this Road to The Avengers will hit the comic book shelves, although it is believed to be released in early 2012.
