Mark Ruffalo is gearing up to play The Incredible Hulk in The Avengers, which starts production later this summer. It seems one thing the actor won't have to do is shave his chest for the role. The producers of Captain America: The First Avenger asked Chris Evans to shave his chest for his shirtless scenes, though it doesn't seem they are going in the same direction with Hulk in The Avengers. Here's what Mark Ruffalo had to say below.

"No one has asked me to shave my chest yet, thank God. They want this Hulk to be as close to me as possible. I'll be playing him in motion-capture, so this Hulk will just be a bigger avatar version of me. As they're modeling him, they're using many of my own features, down to my scars and wrinkles. He will have body hair, but I don't know to what extent."

It will be interesting to see what this motion-captured Hulk will look like, chest hairs and all, when The Avengers hits theaters on May 4, 2012. Joss Whedon is directing The Avengers from a screenplay by Zak Penn.
