Fans of The Boys are all eagerly awaiting the third season, but until then, series star Jack Quaid can be seen on the big screen. The actor is one of the new stars of Scream, the fifth installment of the slasher movie franchise. The film is now playing in theaters, prompting many to check it out at their local theaters, and among them is Quaid's The Boys co-star Karl Urban.

Hey Jack Quaid. Loved you in Scream," Urban says, posting a pic of himself at the theater to Instagram. A response from Quaid read, "AHHHHHH!!!!! Love you bud!"

Quaid plays one of many new characters introduced in Scream. Will he survive? Is he the killer? We're not telling here. In any case, given how much blood we've already seen Quaid covered in on The Boys, the actor was seemingly prepared to handle the bloody mayhem that comes with starring in a slasher movie like Scream.

The synopsis for the sequel reads: "Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past. Neve Campbell (Sidney Prescott), Courteney Cox (Gale Weathers) and David Arquette (Dewey Riley) return to their iconic roles in Scream alongside Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sonia Ammar."

"Oh man, I think it was working with David, the first day I worked with David. I think he was the first legacy cast member I got to work with, and just to see David Arquette in front of me, it being Dewey and doing all of his Dewey-isms, was just incredible. I think that's when it really hit me like, 'okay, yeah, I'm definitely in a Scream movie,'" Quaid told Screen Rant of when the moment sunk in.

The Boys NSFW Trailer Sets Up the Fight Against Corrupt Superheroes

Prime Video's hit series The Boys stars Karl Urban and Jack Quaid as two members of a group whose goal is to keep corrupt superheroes from abusing their powers. The series lampoons the superhero genre and includes characters that serve as parodies of well-known characters from Marvel and DC.

“I can’t say anything about it,” Quaid previously told Inverse, keeping a lid on the secrets that showrunner Eric Kripke has in store for the superhero show's third season. “We are doing some insane, insane stuff this season. No one is okay.”

Two seasons in, The Boys seems to have only gotten more popular. There is a lot of anticipation from fans for the third season, and it was recently when the release date for season 3 was finally announced. The Boys will return for its third season this summer when season 3 starts streaming on Prime Video on June 3, 2022.
