The Cabin in the Woods Gets Release Date

Lionsgate picked up the Drew Goddard-directed horror is planning to release in theaters April 13, 2012.

Lionsgate has acquired the distribution rights to The Cabin in the Woods and has set an April 13, 2012 release date.

The Cabin in the Woods storyline provides a new twist on the young-people-stranded-in-the-woods horror movie formula. Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford play white-collar co-workers with a mysterious connection to the cabin.
