Marcus Warren's British caper The Heavy has landed some strong talent. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Shannyn Sossamon, Vinnie Jones and Stephen Rea have all agreed to appear in the film.
The screenplay revolves around a henchman (Gary Stretch) who is forced to assassinate his own brother, a high profile politician. The plan falls apart when he falls for a student (Sossamon) whose flat he plans to use for the crime. Vinnie Jones plays the detective on his trail.
Other cast members include Christopher Lee, George Harris, Geoff Bell and Jean Marsh. The film will begin shooting this month in the U.K.
