Before the much more serious action of Guy Ritchie's The Covenant, director Guy Ritchie will first delve back into comedy with the action spy comedy Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre. Led by action movie superstar Jason Statham, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre follows elite spy Orson Fortune, tasked with tracking down and stopping the sale of a deadly new weapons technology wielded by billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds. Reluctantly teamed up with some of the world's best operatives, Fortune and his crew recruit Hollywood's biggest movie star, Danny Francesco, to help them on their globe-trotting mission to save the world.

Directed by Guy Ritchie and written by Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson, and Marn Davies, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre stars Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone, and Hugh Grant alongside The Stath. The action outing has been met with a series of delays before being released in international territories on Jan. 4. Unfortunately, Ritchie, Statham, and action-comedy fans in the U.S. will have to wait a little longer, with Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre not due to be released until Mar. 17.

Guy Ritchie's The Covenant meanwhile is scheduled for release in the United States on Apr. 21 by United Artists Releasing and will debut internationally courtesy of Prime Video.
