Lionsgate announced today that Keiynan Lonsdale has signed on to play the pivotal role of Uriah in The Divergent Series: Insurgent, with Rosa Salazar also joining the cast as Lynn.

Uriah plays a pivotal role in all three of Veronica Roth's Divergent novels, although he wasn't featured in the first movie. Lynn was also born into the Dauntless faction, who becomes better acquainted with Tris in the Insurgent novel.

The Divergent Series: Insurgent follows Tris and Four (Theo James) as they go on the run from the powerful Erudite faction leader Jeanine (Kate Winslet). Divergent stars Miles Teller (Peter), Jai Courtney (Eric), Mekhi Phifer (Max), Ben Lamb (Edward), Zoë Kravitz (Christina), Ansel Elgort (Caleb), Maggie Q (Tori) and Ray Stevenson (Marcus) reprise their roles in the sequel, with Octavia Spencer (Johanna), Jonny Weston, Suki Waterhouse (Marlene), Naomi Watts (Evelyn) and Daniel Dae Kim joining the cast.
