Justified star David Meunier has joined the cast of The Equalizer for CBS Films and director Antoine Fuqua.

Denzel Washington is locked in to star as Robert McCall, a former covert agent who now works at Home Depot and lives a life of solitude. When McCall tries to help a teenage prostitute named Teri (Chloe Moretz), the Russian mafia starts coming after him. David Meunier is playing Slavi, the violent Russian pimp who has the young Teri in his stable. Marton Csokas is starring as the main villain, a Russian mafia "fixer," while Melissa Leo is playing McCall's former supervisor who provides him with information.

Antoine Fuqua is directing from a screenplay by Richard Wenk (The Expendables 2), based on the CBS TV series The Equalizer which starred Edward Woodward as Robert McCall, and ran from 1985 to 1989. No production schedule was given.

Aside from playing Johnny Crowder on FX's Justified, David Meunier also appeared as Will Strausser on NBC's Revolution.
