AHHHHHHHH..what a relief. The wait for the final Attack of the Clones trailer was almost unbearable. And now it's finally over! In my personal opinion it was one of the finest trailers I've seen in a long time. It told us just enough about the story to give us an idea what's going on and showed us just enough spectacular images to whet the appetite even more. I thought it impossible before tonight, but now I am even more eager for May 16th to get here! Sleep may be out of the question for the next 2 months!

Seeing the dark scene between Count Dooku and Obi-Wan, that I wrote about in Thursday's huge spoiler update, in living color was breathtaking. And when Dooku says, "you must join me Obi-Wan" chills ran down my spine and the haunting images of seeing Vader telling Luke that very thing for the first time came back. The foreboding tone of Yodas voice as he tells someone "in grave danger you are" was spellbinding.

The greastest image for my money was the final shot of the circle of Jedi being surrounded on Geonisis. The foreshadowing in this single shot is a work of art. We know that the Jedi's downfall is near. We know that they are soon to take the blame for much of the republics ills. We know that the Jedi's stand on this rocky planet is for naught. Just like the Geonisians are closing in on them so too do the forces of darkness in the galaxy. They may win the battle, but they are doomed to lose the war. These are just a few quick thoughts I had after the first viewing. Come back soon for a full shot-by-shot analysis of the trailer! Oh and shoot on over to our forums and tell us what YOU thought of the Clone War trailer. Check out some stills! Or CLICK HERE to experience the magic of the CLONES!!!

If this is any indication George has done with Episode II what we all wanted in The Phantom Menace. The Magic is back...~Bobby
