Batman star Michael Keaton suits up as The Dark Knight after more than three decades in the latest clip from the upcoming DC outing, The Flash. Released courtesy of Fandango, the footage gives us a tour of Keaton’s Batcave, showing off all his expensive tech and vehicles including a Batplane and the classic Batmobile from Keaton and director Tim Burton’s iteration of the beloved superhero. Check out the new clip from The Flash below.

The return of Michael Keaton as Batman is one of the major selling points for The Flash (for better or worse) with many excited to see the actor don the cape and cowl once again after all these years. Now older and even more prickly than he used to be, Keaton’s Bruce Wayne is apprehensive about helping Barry Allen and his variant at first, but is soon persuaded to jump back into action declaring “Yeah...I’m Batman” as Danny Elfman’s iconic score thunders in the background.

The hype grows as we get closer to the release of The Flash, following several delays and years of anticipation. Taking to Instagram recently, director Andy Muschietti shared three new character posters to Instagram highlighting the three superheroes at the heart of the film. That obviously includes Ezra Miller, who's back as The Flash, with Michael Keaton's Batman and Sasha Calle's Supergirl getting new solo posters as well. You can view all three new posters below.

Each of the posters also tease how "worlds collide" in The Flash. That refers to the fracturing of the multiverse that brings in superheroes and supervillains alike from alternate realities. That explains why both Keaton and Ben Affleck get to be in the film as different incarnations of Batman. Bringing back Keaton has undeniably been one of the biggest selling points of the film as well, as it will be the first time the fan favorite actor has been in that role since he starred in Batman Returns in 1992. His new poster also teases the return of that version of Batman's familiar Batmobile, one of many vehicles of his we'll see in action in The Flash.

The film also marks the debut of Calle's Supergirl. It remains unclear if Calle will revisit that role in any future films as a part of James Gunn and Peter Safran's DCU. Those two have a movie planned called Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, but they haven't said if they intend on bringing back Calle's Supergirl for that movie, or if they'll do what Gunn is doing with Superman: Legacy, by casting a new actor entirely. They're likely waiting to see just how well the film does before deciding how to move forward, though what fans have seen of Calle as Supergirl in the trailer has been pretty well-received.

Meanwhile, there's speculation that Ezra Miller's involvement will have a negative effect on ticket sales. Miller's reputation has taken a big hit over the past year, marred by controversy due to criminal charges and serious allegations getting leveled against the actor. It was far too late to replace Miller as the lead role by this point, otherwise it's certainly possible the role would have been recast. The studio stands by the release, though there's no guarantee that Miller will stay in that role after the release of The Flash.

The Flash will be released in movie theaters on June 16, 2023, following several significant delays. You can view the official trailer for the movie below.
