British author Geoff Nicholson is finally going to see his novel The Food Chain on the big screen. According to Variety, Occupant Films has bought the rights to the property.

The literary work revolves around gastronomic excess and sexual abandon. Captain Mauzner and his partner James Townsend are scripting the project, which follows a Los Angeles restaurateur's adventures in London. The wild card chief falls into a party that has been going nonstop for the last 350 years.

There is no word on when the film will begin shooting.
