Chris Rock's brother Tony Rock is gearing up to host a new comedy series for TV One entitled The Funny Spot. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will revolve around stand-up comedians and their take on current events.

The half-hour series will allow comedians to offer up their perspective of the world as we watch behind the scenes footage of their lives. Rock will also host a segment entitled On The Spot, which allows performers to answer tough questions from both Rock and the audience.

Geoff Brown, Corey Holcomb and Retha Jones, Joe Clair, Rudy Rush, Alex Thomas, Franklyn Ajaye, Chris Spencer, Michael Colyar, Esau McGraw, David Arnold and Rodney Perry will all be appearing on the show. Damon Wayans and Kevin Hart will also be making an appearance.

The show debuts January 19th at 10:00 p.m.
