The Harlem Globetrotters have teamed up with Hell's Kitchen producer A. Smith & Company to produce a reality series based on the basketball franchise. According to Variety, the deal may also expand to a scripted film, an animated series, and even some live events.

Kurt Schneider, the former Fox Sports Net and WWE exec who was made CEO of the Globetrotters in May, made his first major TV deal with the partnership. He stated, "Our goal is to evolve the Globetrotters into a dynamic, unique experiential entertainment property."

The Globetrotters are embarking on a 2008 world tour under the title Magic as Ever. The team has more than 22,000 wins to its credit over its eight-decade history.
