The Nordor Blog discovered a casting call for The Hobbit in New Zealand's daily newspaper The Wellington Dominion Post. You can take a look at the listing below, which is seeking very short or very tall actors for "scale doubles" in the highly-anticipated movie. This unique ad certainly indicates that the J.R.R. Tolkien prequel is forging ahead.:

We reported last week that actor Ian McKellen had recently stated that The Hobbit was gearing up for a January start date. Here's an excerpt from the The Nordor Blog story:

"I have it on good authority that this comes directly from the studios, this time it's the real thing. It's not quite a green light but we must be getting awfully close!"
