Actor Orlando Bloom has been in talks to join The Hobbit since December, and it seems he still isn't quite signed on. Here's what the actor had to say over the weekend at the Tribeca Film Festival about joining The Hobbit... eventually.

"My fingers and toes are crossed, but, yes, I'll be there. We're just waiting for everything to get straightened out."

We reported in January that Orlando Bloom was set to receive a cool $1 million for just a two-minute appearance in The Hobbit. It isn't clear why the negotiations have lasted so long, although that hefty fee could be an issue. Earlier this month, the actor indicated he had still not signed on for The Hobbit, although he is close to doing so. Orlando Bloom will reprise his role of the archer elf Legolas from The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The Hobbit started production last month. If and when Orlando Bloom signs on, he would join fellow cast members from The Lord of the Rings trilogy such as Cate Blanchett, Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, and Ian Holm.
