Lionsgate has announced that young actors Sam Ly and Leigha Hancock have landed roles in The Hunger Games. The actors will portray the unnamed tributes of District 7. Take a look at these new cast members below.

The Hunger Games District 7 Tributes

Only Districts 2, 8, 9, and 10 remain to be cast in The Hunger Games, although at this rate, the tributes may all be cast within a week or two. Gary Ross will direct The Hunger Games from a screenplay by Billy Ray, which is adapted from the novel by Suzanne Collins. The story centers on an alternate America split up into 12 Districts where, once a year, two teenagers from each district are chosen at random for The Hunger Games, a nationally-televised event where the "tributes" fight to the death.

It still isn't clear when production will begin on The Hunger Games, although with the cast coming together this quickly, shooting may start very soon.
