On the heels of yesterday's news that Michelle Forbes is playing Lt. Jackson in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, Lionsgate announced today that Eugenie Bondurant has been cast as Tigris in director Francis Lawrence's franchise finale.

In the Suzanne Collins novel, Tigris is a companion of Plutarch Heavensbee (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and Cressida (Natalie Dormer), who lives in the Capitol. She once was one of the stylists for The Hunger Games, whose appearance was altered radically to resemble a tiger, although she was presumable fired from her stylist job by President Snow (Donald Sutherland) because her appearance was deemed too extreme for television. She owns a small shop in the Capitol where she sells fur undergarments.

Francis Lawrence is directing from a script by Danny Strong, with production still under way.

The role marks Eugenie Bondurant's first big-screen appearance since the 2008 indie film Patsy.
