Aside from starring as Governor Mike Morris in The Ides of March, George Clooney is also directing from a script he co-wrote with Grant Heslov and Beau Willimon. The political project is based off Beau Willimon's play, Farragut North, which centers on a heated Presidential race. Ryan Gosling is portraying an idealistic press member who is privy to all the dirty political tricks on the campaign trail. Max Minghella plays Ben Harper, although details on his character aren't known.
