Nick Robinson, one of the young stars of CBS Films' summer comedy The Kings of Summer, has signed on for a leading role in Jurassic World.

We reported yesterday that Iron Man 3 and Insidious Chapter 2 star Ty Simpkins joined the cast in another leading role. Nick Robinson is slated to play Ty Simpkins' older brother, although no further character details were given. The sequel is being built as an ensemble, with Bryce Dallas Howard also in talks to star.

Colin Trevorrow is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Derek Connolly (Safety Not Guaranteed), based on an earlier draft provided by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes). While story details are being kept under wraps, the sequel is said to take place on Isla Nublar from the original Jurassic Park, where the theme park is fully operational and attracts several million visitors a year. The story will also feature a /jurassic-park-iv-will-feature-a-never-before-seen-dinosaur/never-before-seen dinosaur.
