The Moderator follows an assassin who decides to take justice into her own hands when her friends are murdered without cause during a camping trip. We have an exclusive trailer ahead of its release in theaters, on-demand, and digital on July 29.
The official synopsis reads, “When the senseless murder of her friends is left unsolved, a covert assassin decides to take justice into her own hands. Discovering the crimes were just the latest in a long streak of sadistic murders by an underground crime syndicate, she will take no prisoners in her blood-soaked mission for revenge as she hunts them down, one target at a time.”
“Now moving on to the vicious killing of two girls who were camping together… this is an act of terror,” says a news anchor at the beginning of the trailer. An investigation unfolds as we see the assassin stalking around suspects. It soon becomes clear she isn’t messing around as she starts kicking butt in the final moments. You can watch it below.
The Moderator Trailer
The Moderator stars Irma Lake, Robert Knepper (Prison Break), and Gary Dourdan (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation). It’s written by Hicham Hajji and Jonathan McConnell, and is directed by Zhor Fassi-Fihri. Prior to The Moderator, Lake worked as a model and journalist while traveling between 40 countries. According to her IMDb page, this will be her first leading credit, and she also has a role in the upcoming movie The Lost Princess.
The film is not yet rated and has a run time of 81 minutes, brought to us by Saban Films and Paramount Pictures. Saban Films has continued to provide viewers with excellent films since its founding in 2004 in Los Angeles, California. Some of these recognizable projects include Agent Game with Mel Gibson, Gasoline Alley with Bruce Willis, The Aviary with Malin Akerman, Chariot with John Malkovich, Kevin Smith's Jay & Silent Bob Reboot, and many more.
