It has been a long time since we last talked. Without going into the long story, I'll just say that a certain celebrity (very famous), complained to the CIA (very dangerous) about your dear old MovieGuru (very charming) and the column was shut down temporarily while I was flung into a dark cell with little to no oxygen (must have been in France). That is my story and I'm sticking to it. What's important now is that we're back on air, err, line. (And Uma Thurman is taking care of the evil force responsible for this torment)
So with the holidays around and with everyone wanting to take a bit of break from the entire gift-shopping shenanigan, no time is better suited for the movies. That's why all the big films are being released at the moment - cause they know that you've already spent a lot of money, so just a bit more won't do much harm. But even if you are going to give in to temptation and put down some hard-earned cash, do it right. Do it with style. Do it with grace. Do it with the aid of your trusty MovieGuru.
