Rob Cohen has recently wrapped shooting on The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. According to Variety, the director has decided to open the film one week early in Beijing.

Cohen showed a five-minute trailer for the film at Monday's wrap party. The film is headed to the United States for postproduction later this week. While the film's local stars Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh failed to show up to the party, Brendan Fraser, Maria Bello, John Hannah and Isabella Leong all attended in costume.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor will open July 24th, 2008 in China. It will open one week later in the U.S.
