Visual Effects Shop the Orphanage is set to provide effects to Iron Man and Will Eisner's The Spirit, according to the company's own website.

Superhero fans have seen work from the Orphanage in the past, with their contributions to Superman Returns, Sin City, and Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer, just to name a few of the big-budget films they have worked on.

Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges and Gwynth Paltrow flies into theatres on May 2, 2008.

Will Eisner's The Spirit is directed by comic-book legend Frank Miller, and the cast includes Gabriel Macht, Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes, Jaime King and Samuel L. Jackson. The film is set for release on January 16, 2009.
