NBC has canceled the sitcom The Paul Reiser Show after airing just two episodes. The network will air repeats of The Office in the show's 8:30 PM time slot on Thursday nights.

The Paul Reiser Show debuted to a paltry 1.1 rating and just 3.3 million viewers overall on April 14. Last night's episode dropped to a 0.9 rating and 2.5 million viewers overall. The 1.1 rating marks the lowest debut for an in-season comedy in NBC history.

NBC hasn't had much luck at the Thursday 8:30 PM time slot this year. The network debuted Perfect Couples in January, although it never seemed to find any traction with viewers. When the network yanked Perfect Couples off the air, they slotted in The Paul Reiser Show, which was ordered to series last May.
