Freestyle Releasing has unveiled the first trailer for The Playroom, debuting simultaneously in theaters and on VOD and DVD February 8. John Hawkes and Molly Parker star as alcoholic parents in the 1970s who spend more time entertaining their guests than with their children. Olivia Harris plays the oldest of their four kids, who tells her siblings fantasy stories in the attic, to keep them distracted from the hard-drinking activities downstairs.
