Next week, one of the greatest modern day action movies will be released on Blu-ray and DVD. The Raid 2 from director Gareth Evans continues the hard-hitting story set up in 2012's The Raid: Redemption. The story continues with Rama just moments after we last left him. He is now forced to go undercover to protect his wife and child and a new mission brings him face to face with danger like nothing he's ever experienced in his life. The Raid 2's 150 minute running time is jam-packed with inventive and breathless fight scenes never-before-seen in the history of cinema.

Check out our exclusive Blu-ray featurette, which finds Gareth Evans taking fans through this non-stop barrage of action sequences. He describes his inspiration and his method of madness, going back to a much older world of classic martial arts mayhem and movie moments to pick and pull from. You may not be ready for what you'll witness on screen in The Raid 2 . Take this introductory course from the man behind the magic himself, and then be sure to pick up the Blu-ray or DVD when it hits stores and online retailers next week.

Following immediately after the events of The Raid: Redemption, Rama (Iko Uwais) is forced to reinvent himself as an undercover cop in order to provide protection for his wife and child. Working for the anti-corruption taskforce led by the one person he can trust, Bunawar, he is given a mission to engage himself as an enforcer for a local mob boss, Bangun. Finding a way in through Bangun's son Uco, Rama must hunt for information linking Bangun with police force corruption. All the while, he harbors a dangerous and personal vendetta for revenge and justice that threatens to consume him - and bring both this mission and the organized crime syndicates crashing down.
