Colin Firth stars as a man looking for closure in an international trailer for The Railway Man. The story is based on the true story of Eric Lomax, an Army engineer in World War II who was captured and tortured by the Japanese. Years later, when Lomax realizes the Japanese interpreter responsible for his cruel treatment is still alive, he goes on a journey to confront him. In addition, we also have five character posters for director Jonathan Teplitzky's drama, featuring Colin Firth, Nicole Kidman, Stellan Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada and Jeremy Irvine. The film will be released on January 1, 2014 in the U.K., although The Weinstein Company hasn't announced a domestic release date yet, so stay tuned.
