Those who follow John Cusack on Twitter have discovered an odd, cool, twisted, sometimes dark, sometimes very funny individual who is the polar opposite of his younger 80s pre-emo on-screen doppelgangers. He will next be seen playing someone much closer to himself as an artist, the poet Edgar Allan Poe in The Raven. This James McTeigue directed thriller finds the aging wordsmith working with a young Baltimore detective to solve a series of crimes based on Poe's own writings. John Cusack has posted two pieces of self-made art that helped inspire his character. You can check them out below.
