The Rise of Skywalker is now nearly a month away from hitting theaters. In celebration, we have a new photo of Oscar Isaac's Poe piloting the Millennium Falcon for the first time ever. Chewie looks frightened, with Finn and Poe sevring as his flight crew. We all know he still really misses Han Solo quite a bit. A lot of Star Wars fans can feel the Wookiee's pain. Whatever the case may be, the Skywalker Saga is coming to a close, bringing an end to the nine movie series.

The latest look at The Rise of Skywalker does not give any of the story away, except for the fact that Chewie is hanging with Finn and Poe. And they see something quite shocking out the cockpit window. Rey is more than likely on her own Jedi mission, taking on Kylo Ren and then Emperor Palpatine. The story is still very much a mystery, though there has been a lot of speculation as to what is going to go down, especially when it comes to Kylo Ren, Rey, and Palpatine.

Oscar Isaac says The Rise of Skywalker is "the most fun" he's had playing Poe. "There was just an energy and a looseness and excitement to the whole production," the actor said. Isaac went on to say that he thinks Star Wars fans are going to be "blown away" by the movie.

"It is the end of the entire Skywalker saga. Nine stories. This is the culmination of the entire thing. What (director) J.J. (Abrams) has done, and the entire Lucasfilm team, is incredibly fulfilling. It's also special for us because you get to learn a lot more things about these characters."

J.J. Abrams recently revealed that The Rise of Skywalker was able to pull off the original story arc for Carrie Fisher's Leia Organa. Fisher passed away at the end of 2016 at the age of 60, which led to Abrams and Lucasfilm going into the vaults and pulling out some unused footage of the actress from 2015's The Force Awakens. Many were under the assumption that Leia's story arc in the third movie would have to be drastically altered, but according to Abrams, they were able to successfully pull it off with about eight minutes-worth of footage.

The Rise of Skywalker opens in theaters on December 20th and it is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Star Wars fans have a lot to look forward to with the end of the year on the horizon. The Mandalorian will wrap up its storyline on December 27th, one week after The Rise of Skywalker opens in theaters. So far, the show has been satisfying even the most cynical of fans, so hopefully it delivers the goods by the end. It's possible that it will tie into the conclusion of The Rise of Skywalker.
