Comedy Central picked up a second season of The Sarah Silverman Program.

The deal came down after a great debut for the first two episodes on the cable network. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show drew 1.8 million total viewers; that figure made it the best for a Comedy Central original since the premiere of the animated series Drawn Together (2.2 million viewers) in 2004.
