Despite his late arrival on the big screen, Daniel Stisen has been in a handful of intriguing films. However, the majority of them are action-oriented and focused on his physique rather than the quality of the film's content. Even though he always seems to end up in the tough guy role, he actually brings a lot of thrills and spills in his movies. Like 2021's Last Man Down, Daniel Stisen has returned with another mind-boggling thriller, The Siege.

Directed by Brad Watson, The Siege is an upcoming action movie from Saban Films that promises to bring moviegoers a fresh take on the genre by placing a professional assassin in a life-or-death situation. A new trailer has been released by Saban Films, and it jumps right into high-octane action. In what is expected to be his most challenging role to date, Daniel Stisen may find his creative stride thanks to the film. Now that that's out of the way, here's everything we know about The Siege, an upcoming action thriller.

The Siege: The Plot

Here's our interpretation of the plot based on the official trailer released by Saban Films. Walker is an international assassin/hitman who accepts the dangerous assignment of assassinating a man with a strong reputation. Although he completes the mission, a minor error compromises him and makes him a target for the mercenaries hired by Walker's victim. After contacting his handler, who usually gets him hitman contracts, he sends Walker to a Reassignment Center, where he will be given a new identity and can continue his profession as a hitman.

On the other hand, the vicious mercenaries show no signs of backing down and eventually track Walker down. Even though he is accompanied by a crew of armed fighters and criminal associates, Walker finds himself in a no-win situation. He establishes an alliance with another skilled hitwoman, Elda, and her mysterious ward Juliet to improve his chances of survival when besieged by the overwhelming opposition. But can Walker escape the siege and track down the traitor who betrayed him during the mission?

While we expanded on the plot based on the trailer, here is The Siege's official synopsis:

Walker, an international assassin/hitman, is compromised during a mission. His handler sends him to a Reassignment Center at which Walker will be processed for a new identity. During his stay at the facility, a ruthless assault team storms the compound searching for someone their boss has lost. Walker begrudgingly falls in with Elda, a skilled hitwoman, and Juliet, her mysterious ward, in order to maximize the chance to survive the night.
