The Simpsons Movie came in number one overseas this weekend. The film took in an estimated $23.4 million dollars, playing in 7,000 theaters in 61 markets. Its total international earnings tally up to about $270 million. That makes its worldwide take $435 million.

The film is the only feature that has maintained the number one position for four straight weeks this summer. It will posts the longest winning streak since Fox's Night at the Museum stayed in the number one position for five straight weeks in a row earlier this year.

The Bourne Ultimatum came in a close second, bringing in $22 million at 1,470 locations. That means it made $14,966 per location. The coming weeks don't offer much in the way of competition. Both The Simpsons Movie and The Bourne Ultimatum will probably stay at the top of the international box office for a while.
