The Simpsons might finally have a movie! That's right! In a recent interview with Cinescape, Matt Groening revealed plans to do a Simpsons movie while the show is still on the air! That means we won't have to wait for the series to end to feast our eyes on our favorite yellow friends projected onto the big screen.

With the recent announcment of the cancellation of Futurama (which still has 30 unaired episodes up it's sleeve), it has been wondered if any of those animators will be making the trek to the Simpson's movie. Groening replied that he wasn't sure what was going to happen.

So, keep your eyes peeled for Springfield to make it's way to your local theater very soon!
