<strong><em>The Twilight Saga: New Moon</em></strong>
It took just seven days for one of the year's biggest films to reach a box office milestone. According to Variety, The Twilight Saga: New Moon took in $17.9 million at the box office on Friday, bringing its domestic total to $206.1 million.

The film has already surpassed Twilight's $192.8 million domestic total after just seven days in theaters. The film is currently playing in 4,042 theaters nationwide.

Sandra Bullock's true-story football film The Blind Side slipped to second place after a surprising Thursday win at the box office with $16.2 million for a cumulative gross of $76.3 million. Disney's new hand-drawn animated film The Princess and the Frog is making some big waves at the box office, taking in $277,000 from just two theaters, for a three-day gross of $707,630. The film will receive a wide release on December 11.
